  • Weight Ratings for Ladder Racks on 2017 Ram 2500
  • Many of our ladder racks only show an on-road and off-road weight rating which is what you're seeing. Most of the time that is the rating people are looking for since they're using it to haul equipment around with them. The static rating is typically higher and for most of our ladder racks it is listed in the instructions. The Yakima OutPost HD Overland Truck Bed Rack # Y01152-58 you looked at has a static load rating of 800 lbs. The same is true for the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-58....

  • Crossbar Recommendation for 2024 Toyota Tundra with RetraxONE XR Tonnea Cover Installed
  • Hey Parvez, glad I could help! So the Rhino Rack Vortex Crossbars for Retrax XR tonneau covers part # RRVA180B-RRRLT600 was designed specifically to work with your RetraxOne XR tonneau cover so it is going to definitely have enough clearance above your tonneau. This has a 220 lb dynamic weight capacity which means it can carry 220 lbs on the rack when on the road. So your truck bed width is 59 inches and the bars of this kit are 71 inches so that would put the bars about 5 inches past...

  • What Dimensions are Needed for Setting Fifth Hitch Height
  • Hey Bill, it sounds like you might have measured from the top of the bed rails to the ground and not the truck bed. 5 inches is pretty normal between the bed rail and king pin plate so what you should do is measure from the bed floor of your truck bed down to the ground and then take the difference of that and the king pin dimension you took That will be the correct height setting to use for the 5th wheel hitch.

  • Carrying Heavy E-Bikes in Truck Bed of 2022 Ford F-150
  • Hey Jeff; thanks for the question and there is really just one option to carry your heavy ebikes in the bed of your 2022 Ford F-150, and that's with a tailgate pad bike rack: - Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks # TH824PRO All other truck bed racks have weight limits which your 75 lb bikes far exceed, which is why the pad is the only way to haul the bikes. It does have soft foam padding for cushioning your bikes and straps to prevent them from moving as you travel.

  • Where do Fifth Wheel Rail Kits Generally Mount in Truck Beds
  • Hey Scott, generally you want to put the center of the fifth wheel rails above the rear axle or just slightly forward. I can get you an exact dimension though if you let me know the year/make/model of your truck and the rail kit you have.

  • Replacing/Upgrading Pin Box On A 2018 Grand Design Solitude
  • Hello Micael. I can definitely help point you in the right direction. An Air Ride Pin Box like the Curt # LC369535 will definitely be an upgrade from a standard pin box. What is the bed length of your truck? If you have a long bed, clearance will not be an issue. Short bed trucks are where you can run into potential clearance issues. Some short bed trucks may require the use of a sliding fifth wheel hitch. If you have clearance with the current pin box, you should be good though. As...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch For A 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali With 6-3/4' Bed
  • Hi Kim, For a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 I have two options depending on whether you'd prefer above or below bed rails: For above bed rails you'll want the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 and Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails # DM39FR. For below bed rails you'll want the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550022 and Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DR37FR. Both hitches have an 18,000lb capacity and can automatically slide back...

  • Ramp Recommendation for Pride Scooter Loading into Bed of Truck
  • Hey William, so I believe I have a great solution for you but I wouldn't recommend the ramps you mentioned because of the distance between the slats that I think wouldn't work well with your electric scooter. Instead I would recommend the CargoSmart ramp set part # 3483086-2 which doesn't have the gaps like the ramp you mentioned, is longer, and has an s-curve built into it which helps prevent high centering when cresting over the tailgate like you mentioned as well.

  • Toolbox Compatible With BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48203 For a 2020 Ram 3500 6-1/2' Bed
  • BAK offers their BAKBox 2 Collapsible Truck Bed Toolbox # BAK92201 which is compatible with the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48203 you found for your 2020 Ram 3500. This is really the best option since you can't use a crossover style tool box with the cover and any other box would have to mount to the bed floor which would then make your bed even shorter for loading long items such as plywood or other lumber.

  • Will B&W Gooseneck Use Same Hole As Curt Gooseneck On 2023 GMC Sierra 3500
  • I'm not 100% sure which Curt gooseneck is on there and they use a template so I don't have the measurements handy. However, the # BWGNRK1020 does list the measurements so you can run a tape measure in your truck bed to see if it lines up. Hook your tape measure over the rear edge of the bed at the tailgate end and measure 45-5/16" if you have the long bed or 37-1/8" for the short bed. If the measurement takes you to the center of your Curt gooseneck you have your answer. Depending on...

  • Shorter Awning that Can Be Used with Truck Bed Camper
  • Hey Nessa, we do have some smaller awnings that would work great on your truck camper like with the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490011 which was designed to attach to wall sides like what your camper has and measures 8 foot long and 10 foot wide. It doesn't put longer arms on the sides of the campers like you mentioned but would work really well as long as the dimensions would work for you.

  • Are Happijac Camper Tie Downs Weight Rated
  • Hey Mark, so the Happijac Camper Tie Downs like the part # LC350763-182971 are not weight rated. As long as the camper was designed for your truck bed length these will work great and you won't have to worry about exceeding any weight ratings.

  • Width of Access Toolbox Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover
  • I reached out to Access/Agri-Cover and for whatever reason they do not have the width of the # A61409. The only measurement they have associated with the width was the header bar which is 60.31". Since this ships directly I do not have the ability to go out and measure one in our warehouse or I would do that for you. This cover is confirmed to fit your 2019 Ford F-450 long bed with a 19" - 21" toolbox.

  • Can The Mad-Ramps Pivoting Ramp System Be Used For Hauling a Golf Cart
  • Mad-Ramps Pivoting Ramp System for ATV/UTV Ramps # MR54FR should be able to help you haul your golf cart, but you'll want to check a couple of things first. Starting with the wheelbase, you'll want to measure from the center of the front axle back to the center of the rear axle. If your measurement exceeds 88" then your golf cart is likely going to be too long to fit. This is mostly designed for small to medium ATVs/UTVs that are 60" wide or less with only one row of seats. You'll also...

  • Will Brophy Camper Tie-Downs # HSSF Fit A 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD
  • Hey David, The Brophy Slide In Camper Tie-Downs # HSSF could potentially work but you'll first want to ensure you have enough clearance for them to fit up against the inner lip of the bedrails and clear the side body of the bedrails. I've attached a diagram below of their dimensions so you can measure your bedrails and confirm fitment. To complete the setup Brophy also offers turnbuckles with part # TDHP.

  • Upgraded Cushioned Pin Box Recommendation for 2020 Grand Design
  • Hey Rick, thanks for all of the dimensions of your pin box. Based on that you have a Lippert 1621 style which is an extended pin box and not a medium. The best cushioned pin box replacement would be the Curt Flex Air part # LC328492 which has vertical and horizontal cushioning and is considered to be the best cushioned pin box around.

  • Replacement Turnbuckles That Won't Loosen While Driving for F-150 With 2001 Four Wheel Hawk Camper
  • If you need a length of 12" I recommend the TorkLift Basic SpringLoad Turnbuckles # TLS9000. These have an adjustable length of 9" - 13". They have a spring-loaded design to reduce stress and won't loosen up over time as you drive. You're pretty limited at that length so I would double checking the measurement. Something like the # LC182897 from the HappiJac Qwik-Load Turnbuckles # LC182895 you looked at would be a great option that will remain secure and is easy to adjust with the levers....
